A Day with the Bahnar
Time & Location
About The Event
Directed by Aimee Hoffmann (2017, 11 Mins, Canada)
Deep in the Central Highlands of Vietnam live the Montagnard Bahnar tribe. Disconnected from Urban Civilization, their life is one of daily rituals, where time has no meaning, and, besides few outside objects, modern amenities have no role. This film is a portrait into their life. It was not preplanned, rather, the filmmaker was lucky to have her camera and felt their philosophy of life was something to be shared. Mr. An, a friend of the tribe, takes us into the mountains to meet with the Bahnar Montagnard. Local filmmaker.
