TRAILER--> X

No fantasy is too obscene at the masquerade balls hosted by Christian King, known to her guests as X. The monthly masked debauchery that takes place at her beachside estate is all fun and games until the arrival of an unexpected guest from Christian's past threatens to bring to light her darkest secret: she is a voyeur who keeps a hidden camera in the guest bathroom.

Below is writte by Scott J. Ramsey, director/co-writer/editor of "X"

"X" is the story of Christian King, the chair of a mysterious Foundation whose charity balls double as masked sex parties. The arrival of an unexpected guest from her past threatens to expose Christian's darkest secret: the hidden camera in her guest bathroom. "X", an indie film made by rookie San Francisco filmmakers shot in the Bay Area and Monterey with a budget of just $150,000 that is female-led and incredibly queer. "X" is hard to fit into any one category - it has elements of a thriller, elements of camp, elements of a melodrama. Directed by a queer man, written by a queer man and a queer woman, lensed by a queer woman and featuring women in 19 of 32 crew roles, "X" features two lead queer female characters, Christian King and Stella Marie. The heart of the story of "X" is the contrast between the two characters - Christian, a self proclaimed sexual predator whose sexuality is a source of shame, and Stella Marie, a camgirl and burlesque dancer who is empowered by her sexuality.

We think the story of a female sexual predator whose shame is her Shakespearean downfall is a fresh take on an age old tale.

About The Event

Ted Geoghegan 2017, USA, 91 mins

The War of 1812 has revived violent hostilities between the British and their erstwhile American colonial subjects. The powerful Mohawk nation of the New York region is divided as to whom they should stand by, and so they maintain a position of neutrality. They want no part in the killing – but the killing is coming to them. An impulsive attack on an American encampment has drawn the vengeful attentions of a ragged band of American military renegades, led by the vicious, racist Hezekiah Holt. Oak, Calvin, and their British lover Joshua flee into the woods so familiar to them, but the murderous musketeers on their trail will not be deterred. Not without the spilling of blood.
