Come watch the film with us and discuss it via the chat-box (audience microphones and cameras are disabled during the show). Prior to the film, our Co-Host Jason Wiener (Docent at the Niles Essanay Silent Film Museum) will conduct a brief talk about the film and its director. Submit your questions via the new Q&A button on the Zoom app! Jason will be available after the show to answer them.

Director F. W. Murnau was sued by Bram Stoker's widow for this unauthorized adaptation of "Dracula." She won, and the court ordered all prints of this German Expressionist masterpiece to be destroyed. Thankfully, some copies survived and have now been digitally restored. German composer Hans Erdmann's original score was thought to be lost for quite some time, but our soundtrack is fully restored and conducted by Berndt Heller. [Silent with English intertitles]
