An egotistical scientist discovers the means to revive dead tissue. Following an accident, he keeps his fiancée's severed head alive in his basement lab while he seeks a suitable body for transplantation. Set free from her physical limitations, she forms a psychic bond with the failed experimental subject he keeps locked in a closet.
